Overnight guests at The Crate Escape receive all the benefits of our daycare dogs except The Veterinary Care Warranty. This means that they get to participate in our playgroups provided that they are social with other dogs at no extra charge.
The dogs who sleepover are inside at night and have a choice of sleeping in a crate chosen especially for them or being uncrated in one of our rooms or Luxury Suites.
We have many rooms of varying sizes including 2 Luxury Suites, Kuna’s Castle and Rosie’s Recluse, that are furnished with people furniture for those dogs who crave the comforts of home.
- At our discretion we will board dogs that have dog aggression issues but they will not be allowed to participate in our playgroups.
- We do take unaltered males and females. However, and extra charge of $5.00 per day will be added for not neutered males over 1 ½ years of age.
- We do not take females in heat or those that are pregnant.
We offer the following special one on one services that you can add on to make your dog’s stay as fun as possible:
Cuddle Me, Please
Does your dog crave your undivided attention? Does he or she prefer the presence of people to that of other canines? Well, then, this service was meant for him! Our staff will pamper your dog exclusively for 15 minutes. This includes lap time for small dogs, ear scratching, doggie massages, and tummy rubs. Basically we’ll provide any reasonable attention your dog will enjoy.
The Explorer
Does your dog enjoy walking and exploring what nature has to offer? Then this activity is for him! Our trained staff will provide leashed walks through the wooded path to the rear of our property. Dogs that are signed up for this service must be reasonably trained in loose leash walking.
The Retriever’s Heaven
Does your dog love to retrieve? Does he or she go crazy just seeing a ball? If so, this service is a must. For 15 minutes a staff member will throw a ball, Frisbee, or any other retrievable toy that your dog enjoys.
Requirements:
- Current vaccinations including Rabies and DHLPP
- Negative stool check within one year
- All dogs must be non aggressive toward people
- Reservations
- A $25.00 non refundable deposit is required per dog to reserve boarding space.
- Please bring your own food. (We are willing and able to feed natural diets provided they are prepackaged and labeled for each feeding with minimal prep time.)
- You are welcome to bring any bedding or toys that you think will make your dog more comfortable.
