Our classes teach owners how to communicate with their dogs using an easy to understand approach called approximation training. Approximation training teaches exercises in small increments. This type of training makes it easy for dogs to understand and be successful. We also make it fun for your dog using a positive approach to training through the use of “Lures and Rewards”. The lure (anything your dog wants ex: food) and repetition of the behavior, teaches them how to respond to the command. When they understand how to respond, the lure is removed. A reward (treat, toy etc.) is only given when they complete the behavior correctly. Once the dog is consistent, the reward is given randomly.

Thursdays: April 24 – June 12 (no class on May 22) 6:45PM-7:45PM
This is a group class and there is no required age limit. Obedience exercises covered: sit/stay, down/stay, controlled walking on a leash and coming when called. Problem behaviors and basic care issues will also be addressed. Class size is limited to 7 dogs. This class is offered at $125.00 for seven, one-hour classes. A $50.00 deposit is required at the time of registration and the balance is due at the first class.
BEGINNER'S II AGILITY:
Saturdays: 4/26, 5/10, 5/17, 5/24, 5/31, and 6/28 10:00- 11:30AM

Private Training Sessions - Private instruction is offered for dogs with specific behavioral challenges and or owners unable to attend a group class. The cost is $55.00 for approximately 1-½ hours. Call to schedule.
